Throughout my career, I've primarily been engaged in leading roles within globally recognized sportswear and lifestyle brands. Presently, I serve as the Finance Director for the APAC region, overseeing corporate finance matters and spearheading transformative initiatives within the organization.

Prior to my current role, I gained experience in audit, worked in a law firm, and held positions in the Japanese FMCG sector, where I led accounting teams. In each role, I maintained a consistent focus on ensuring the punctual preparation and submission of financial reports to regulatory bodies while providing support to various stakeholders within the management team. Additionally, I actively managed accounting and financial operations, including the successful implementation of SAP systems.

• APAC lead for Central Finance (CFIN) and S4Hana, co-ordinate all training, testing and communication with global HQ.
• Lead for Finance Shared Services transition process from Finance Shared Services from Dalian (China) to  Chennai (India).

• Singapore

1. Manage and control Singapore legal entity accounting and management reporting.
2. Ensure that a closing procedure is in place, the month end close is in line with the company’s reporting calendar and that all journal entries and adjustments are explained and documented.
3. Develop and monitors KPIs for ad-hoc, short- and long-term planning, ensuring consistency across all business channels.
4. Business partnering with channels / HR stakeholders and provide financial insight to drive business forward.
5. Contribute to strategic planning and prepare related presentation material.
6. Regular tracking channels performance against target and manage the Marketing and CAPEX spending.
7. Lead the channels (Wholesale/ Franchise /Retail/ E-com) to prepare business modeling, scenario planning, ad hoc analysis and decision support.
8. Liaise with auditors/corporate secretary and bankers.

• Regional

1. Provide technical direction of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with Company policies, IAS / IFRS and local statutory policies to ensure full compliance across the region.
2. Drive accounting processes standardization and optimization in close alignment with all relevant areas, providing transparency of as-is and to be accounting processes flow.
3. Drive best practices across APAC on topics relating to Accounting, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Tax and Treasury.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for all ad-hoc projects like GST update and new ECOM partners for SEA.

• Controlling

1. Drive business control on topics on working capital for APAC markets.
2. Review Liquidity plans across APAC and follow up red flags to APAC country FD
3. Support APAC FD and FP&A lead in driving performance in achieving cash flow and CAPEX targets
