Web Shop-Front Developer/Designer Intern                             

• Took charge of designing and developing a data marketplace website (tictagmarketplace.com)
• Underwent the whole design process from scratch, from understanding user requirements, to building a high-fidelity UI mockup on Figma, and finally conducting user research to finalise the design
• Participated in UX design workshops to understand the process and technologies that goes into good designs
• Went on to build the whole website on Wix, using Javascript code to call on Wix Developer APIs to integrate functionalities such as automated emails, order forms and feedback forms.
• Worked closely with the marketing and sales team to align the website deliverables to the company’s needs and vision.

Mechanical Design Intern

• Took part in a Healthcare Industry Challenge against two startups to improve medication intake among elderly patients for St Luke's Eldercare and National Healthcare Group
• Underwent UI/UX design for mobile applications and product user interfaces using Figma 
• Collaborated with SingHealth and liaised with third party overseas suppliers to produce medical products

Co-head of REACH (Software Development Team)                                                             Aug 2022-Aug 2023

• Leading a team of 9 as a co-head to develop software solutions for good.
• In charge of liaising with third party organisations to source for projects, understanding project requirements, and leading the team through the whole software development process
• Joined as a team member in 2021 and built two software solutions in a collaborative environment.
  • A mobile application for Fuchun Primary School to incentivize students to lead a healthier lifestyle (currently still in use). 
  • A website for a green technological company, a one-stop platform to publicise the company’s sustainability projects
• Utilised Figma to design website UI 
• Picked up CSS, HTML, Javascript, React.js, and React Native
• Learnt to collaborate and version control on Github

Co-head, Member of Makers                                                                                             Jun 2022 – Aug 2023

• Led 30 students in completing Maker design projects to provide hands-on experience in hardware and software projects, involving tools such as power drills, 3D printers and Arduino hardware.
• Conducted a computer-aided design workshop to an audience of more than 30, teaching absolute beginners to 3D model
• In charge of planning the curriculum for the AY and the upkeep of the makers lab.
