Jing Yi Chew

Hello, my name is Chew Jing Yi, and I recently graduated from James Cook University Singapore with a Bachelor's in Business and Environmental Science. My passion is in research and during my last semester at the university, I had the amazing opportunity to do a solo behavioural research study with Sea Aquarium Singapore on their three Manta Rays. This research project, coupled with my previous job experience as a assistant research editor provided me with ample experience in writing and editing my proposal and handle research papers for publication, which will benefit me greatly in this scientist for animal rehabilitation position. Upon project completion, I had an overseas branding opportunity with Sea Aquarium Singapore regarding this project to shed light on the threats Manta Rays are facing in the wild. Additionally, interning at an aquaculture barramundi farm provided me with the knowledge and experience in handling animal husbandry. Thank you for taking the time to review my application.
