John Tan

John joined RDC Architects as a Designer in March 2011 after graduating with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Tasmania, Australia.  Having previously worked in A61 Architects, Forum Architects, SAA Architects, New Art Interior and Falcon Incorporation Pte Ltd. John is involved in feasibility studies, competition proposals, design and detailing of residential and commercial projects, and project management. 

John has led a team of young designers to front several Commercial retail projects as well as Conservation projects for Churches. He is also working on Good Class Bungalow projects for highly selective Clients and has won the trust of the owners through his detailed follow through approach as well as eye for detail.

Separately on a personnel side, John is an active ride leader to a local Singapore chapter of an international cycling club where he leads members on a weekly basis. He has also obtained an unmanned aircraft pilot license for pursuing and developing different techniques in surveying and aerial photography related to building and architectural needs.
