About Kwang Yang Chia:
Hello! My name is Kwang Yang. I am currently studying a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Analytics at the National University of Singapore (NUS), after serving two years of active duty in the Singapore Armed Forces as a NSF from 2020 onwards.
Being in different leadership roles throughout my education, I have learnt how to communicate well with my peers as well as servant leadership, alongside developing professional work ethic. I strongly believe that empathy is a skill in leadership that goes a long way.
As an avid learner, I believe that education is eternal and have therefore learnt different skills during my free time. Right now, I am honing my Machine Learning Engineering skills and leading Raffles Hall Developers as well as NUS Statistics and Data Science Society’s Workshop department.
