About Laurianne Crosson:
I am a dynamic French-speaking individual. My passion about languages lead me to a career change to teaching.
I have recently graduated with a master’s degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language and Second language with a pass of 70-80%, from the University of Le Mans. In addition, I hold a bachelor's degree in Spanish of Arts Literature and Languages, in foreign and regional languages literatures and Civilisations with merit, from the University of Clermont Auvergne as well.
My linguistic repertoire is extensive : French, English, Spanish, German, Hindi and Mandarin.
My respective expatriations in Spain, India, Dubai and Singapore have raised my cultural awareness.
I am a dedicated individual who displays highly developed communication skills.
My field of expertise are :
- Delivering French differentiated and inclusive classes to young learners (early childhood and primary)
- Planning diverse Annual Curriculum Programs such as : Montessori, PYP IB and CBSE
- Organising the Bastille’s Day celebration in collaboration with my co-worker, where around 50 students participate every year (e.g. exhibition, display and showcase of posters created by the students about four regions of France), reciting famous French poems and songs.
- Encouraging the learning of the French language by organising activities around the Delf Prim certificates intended for young learners, in collaboration with the “Alliance Française “ of Singapore.
- Delivering online group French classes for special purposes to employees of Total group
- Carrying out periodically formative and summative assessments to measure the progress of each student and implementing remediation strategies.
Experience
I have been teaching French at Global Indian International School (GIIS) for three and a half years.
My field of expertise are :
- Delivering French differentiated and inclusive classes to young learners (early childhood and primary)
