Lela Aswad

A passionate professional with 15 years experience teaching art and providing intervention and art psychotherapy to neurodiverse infants, children, adolescents and adults.

Specialises in various developmental delays, diagnoses, disorders, and challenging behaviours in mainstream and special education schools, early intervention centre and day activity centre. 

Taught Visual Arts to secondary school students, familiar with the Cambridge curriculum.
Highly organised and result-driven, my approaches have yielded excellent results in identifying needs, therapeutic goals and designing intervention plans. 
 

I started my career teaching visual arts in secondary schools, then moved on to teach children with special needs. Realising the healing power of art, I pursued a Master's in Art Therapy. On the side, I advice and/or manage SMEs' branding anf marketing communications. I recently graduated from MA Art Therapy and would like to continue working with students in the capacity I am qualified and proficient in.
