Between my second and final semesters of Uni, I took the year off. 2021 wasn't a great time to travel back to London (or much else anywhere), so I stayed home and made myself useful somehow.
 

• COPYWRITER, Societal Pte Ltd (01/22–08/22)
  Leapt faithfully into the creative fray.
  There's a lot to prove when you're one of only two writers in the agency—and even more so when the other leaves.
  
  I wrote for brand campaigns, product launches, long-form articles, video, radio, and enough social ads to come out my ears. Many hats, many audiences, and still many, many things to learn.
   
• SPECIAL PROJECTS TRAINEE, Cheil Singapore (10/21–12/21)
  Took a swig of the global agency life. 
  Found myself dazzled by how disruptive big ideas can be.
  Had the privilege of handing out drinks at big Samsung shoots. Dabbled in copy.
   
• STRATEGY INTERN, Blak Labs (07/21–10/21)
  Took my first glimpse into the riotous world of advertising. Made loads of research decks for CityGas and Sennheiser, some of which got used in pitches we won. Learnt to think like an advertiser. Infatuated ever since.

London School of Economics, BSc International Social and Public Policy (2019–2023)

• Learnt about how the world works from those acclaimed for knowing it best
• Found an affection for writing truckloads of essays about policymaking
• Quickly learnt it had little to do with policymaking
