With over 17 years of experience in the operations and hospitality industry, his work experience includes key operations at the Changi Airport, Marina Bay Sands Hotel & Casino and also Singapore Police Force in his early years of employment.

Mex received many accolades especially during his tenure in the Singapore Police Force as a uniformed police officer and also as an undercover officer. He constantly received the Commander's Award for his role and resolve in solving various crimes. He was also a recipient of the Best Team award as part of the team representing Choa Chu Kang Neighborhood Police Center.
