Muhammad Hanif

I am currently working in PSA since 2021. I started of as an IT Technician here where i was often exposed to data center related works like laying of cables, ensuring cleanliness of data center, supervise vendor for hardware replacement etc. Then 2022 i got my Diploma and was offered a role as System Administrator in the same company, i accepted and currently i am working as a System Administrator and some of the jobs im doing now are Server Commissioning and Decommissioning (Linux and Windows), react to system alerts, assist with ad hoc task, helpdesk duty etc.

IT Technician

• Perform tasks when requested through Servicenow
• Perform PC and cable request onsite installation 
• Perform 24 x 7 standby duty
• Escort contractors/vendors and ensure they follow PSA Safety Rules
• Ensure good housekeeping habit for onsite installation and data centre
• Perform operation support onsite, troubleshooting with vendors, engineers
• Perform annual maintenance for building and crane switch
• Coordinate with vendors, engineer when performing hardware replacement or installation

System Administration (IT Operations)

• Server Commissioning and Decommissioning (Linux and Windows)
• React to system, application and network crane alerts
• Assist with implementations and adhoc tasks
• Project ( Night time statistics breakdown and details )
• Helpdesk duty
• Log cases to respective 3rd party vendor (Dell, HP, Fujitsu etc)
