N Hafizah

Hello! My name is Hafizah (you can call me Hafi!), a 22 year old currently studying Communications. I’m bubbly & hardworking, and I ensure to always give my best efforts despite any struggles I may face.

Singapore Polytechnic was a key part of my life that has shaped me into who I am today. During my academic journey in SP, I have always aimed to be reflective of a student who was passionate to tackle new knowledge, experiences and challenges. 

I gained experience and values through my Social Innovation Project, which was conducted in Malang, Indonesia. I had to work with group members from different courses to create a product that will benefit the workers in the village, and ease their work life. During my time in Malang, I developed cross-cultural learning, creative problem solving, and effective communication. These skills truly shaped me.

My hobbies include playing sports, baking, and music. My favourite instrument is the Clarinet, been playing it since I was 13 :)

Teacher Assistant @ Lorna Whiston Schools

Assistant Duties: To support the classroom teacher to deliver the Lorna Whiston curriculum with care and enthusiasm & work closely with students who are assigned by the classroom teacher during differentiated activities.

Lollipop Duties: To be responsible for taking the students to the toilet, ensure all books are nicely covered before student borrowing, support the classroom teachers by photocopying lessons as delegated by the Head Teacher. To take temperatures of students & ensure a smooth dismissal process as well as supervise students who have not been collected after their class.

Hosting, Order-Taking, Product & Service Promotion, Cashiering were the main job scopes. Maintained cleanliness of workstation and store, served customers and learnt basic barista skills.

Currently studying Communications in the Singapore Institute of Management, after graduating from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Engineering with Business.
