Nicholas Ong

Hello!

My name is Nicholas, and I am a marketing manager and author. I have also freelanced as a

marketing consultant, and have driven combined sales of approximately $1,250,000 through my

marketing efforts, as well as increased conversion rates by over 22%.

To me, half of marketing is science: data equals results. Through the use of Google Analytics,

Wordpress CRM, and Ahrefs, I have utilised research and analysis to trim superfluous ad spend

while still driving up website traffic by up to 20%.

The other half of marketing is the creative force, where I have taught myself to use Adobe's

Creative Suite to develop graphics, videos, and animations. Although I dare not purport myself

as a master of the craft, I have the working experience to get things done, and to communicate

fluently with third-party vendors where necessary.

I am highly passionate about my work, and continually push myself to be the best that I can be.

I have worked in several agencies over the past 5 years, amassing as many skills as I can. My approach to marketing is highly driven by data and experimentation; I believe that numbers don't lie, and that success in marketing is a result of highly utilised data and creativity. 

This approach has led to much success, whether it's in trimming down SOPs or meeting KPIs. Coupled with my experience across a wide variety of industries, I hope that I will be able to bring something great to the table.

I have a Bachelor's degree in International Business.
