Nur Amira Mohamed

A passionate nature-based and forest school educator, programme curator, an experienced student care officer and leader holding many roles in the industry with over a decade of involvement in engaging children of all ages in outdoor environments. 

I have a deep love for nature and a strong commitment to promoting environmental stewardship and outdoor education. 

My specialties include customer relations, communications, program development, staff mentorship, training and employee development, administration, and operational support.

As a dedicated professional at Kowabunga! Global, I held multiple roles that allowed me to leverage my expertise in education, leadership, and strategic outreach. As the Outreach Manager, I developed and executed strategies to boost programme awareness and drive sales, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create targeted campaigns and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. My efforts significantly expanded the organization’s reach and strengthened its brand presence in the market.  

In my role as Lead Programme Trainer, I designed and implemented outdoor and forest school programmes for students of all ages, combining my passion for education and outdoor activities to deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences. Through effective leadership and training, I fostered a love for nature and lifelong learning in participants.  

Additionally, as a Centre Supervisor, I managed an MOE-based Primary School Student Care Centre, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for students. I oversaw staff, developed programmes to enhance academic and social skills, and utilized my organisational and leadership abilities to uphold the centre’s high standards.  

These roles collectively honed my skills in strategic planning, programme development, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement, enabling me to make a meaningful impact on both students and the organisation.
