Nuriyah Mohamad Ali

About myself:

I am 36 years old and a mother of two children. In my free time, I enjoy planning fun activities for my kids. When they do not take up my time, I enjoy reading and writing to destress. As a family person, I frequently spend most of my time with my husband and children. 

I have been in the Early Childhood sector for 13 years, starting as a young novice educator and gradually moving up to become a Lead Teacher. With continuous upskilling, I became a Senior Learning Support Educator (LSEd). 

I am passionate about providing the best opportunities for all children to learn holistically through varied means of strategies. Like adults, children have different styles of learning and processing information too. 

Given the opportunity, I would like to empower educators to try different methods of teaching Language & Literacy by making learning fun, interactive and progressive. Furthermore, I have conducted peer sharing with colleagues, and frequently share strategies with educators on Literacy support. 

 I also hold a Specialisation Track in Communication under the Development Support and Learning Support (DS-LS) Programme with practicum, conducted by a team of therapists from KKH.
