NURRUL UMMAIRAH BINTE JOFFRI

I had first started out my medical journey as a nursing student in ITE. During my clinical attachment in hospitals, I had witnessed multiple ambulance crews conveying patients into the A&E and felt inspired by their efficiency and their steadfastness. Upon graduating, I chose to continue my studies and enrolled myself in the Higher Nitec course in Paramedic and Emergency care. I am currently a full-time paramedic, attending to 995 emergency calls and working a 12-hour shift. Some of my other roles include, being a mentor to paramedic trainees, preparing the paperwork for annual audits and completing cases through the SCDF system (OMNII) promptly within its stipulated timing and also memorizing various protocols and standard operating procedures to run the ambulance service. I am currently a first time mother, married and residing with my husband, son and cat. During my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends.
