Nurulhuda Azman

I am a self-driven individual with a passion for research and teaching. I aspire to help others in any way possible. As a psychology and Neuroscience graduate, I enjoy solving problems while viewing them from both scientific and behavioural perspectives. Through education and research, I aspire to better the well-being of others. 

Previously I was a research assistant (psychology) at James Cook University in 2019. I have 2 years experience as a volunteer leader and befriender at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH). I had  organized and led befriending sessions, birthday, and festive events for mental health patients. Before I went to Australia for my Master's degree, I was a temporary youth worker at Christ Church secondary school where I assisted in the execution of after-school activities and programs for secondary school students.

I recently graduated with a Master of Neuroscience from the Australian National University (ANU). I have a distinction average GPA of 6.25/7.00. I have taken some electives from the medical sciences including  molecular gene technology, hallmarks of cancer, cell biology & biomedical imaging
