Taking lead on security aspects of smart cities and airport projects as part of Meinhardt's Smart Cities and Urban Infrastructure Transformation team.

Permanently embedded with Amazon to provide Security Risk Management services in APAC. This included collating data to provide Security Risk Assessments for security managers, liaise with regional security managers, and development of Risk Assessment tools.

Oct 2019 – Sept 2021, APAC Senior Global Audit and Validation (GAVAL) Analyst – AT-RISK International
Permanently embedded with Amazon Corporate Security to conduct security audits of Amazon corporate offices in Asia-Pacific regarding their compliance to company security policies. This involved arranging and liaising with various stakeholders in APAC for onsite audits of the corporate offices, as well as remote tests of critical security infrastructure during the no travel pandemic period.

Jul 2016 – Oct 2019, Senior Security Consultant – Arup Singapore Pte Ltd
Provided Security Consultancy services for Clients in Singapore, duties consisted of conducting Security Risk Assessments and developing Security Master Plans for buildings, institutions and facilities in Singapore, development of customized training programs, writing of reports and proposals for tenders, and project management.

Freelanced at various security projects including writing SOP's, conduct security training, and security consultancy.

Dec 2014 – Feb 2016, Group Operations Manager – Infinite Security Solutions (ISS)
Managed all operations within ISS as well as logistics, including maintaining various licenses for the purpose of transporting firearms and equipment for Maritime Security.
ISS delivers Consultancy, Products and Services, offering specialist skills across both land and maritime industries with a strong base in the Maritime sector, Shipping, Oil & Gas, Port Facilities and Supply Chain Security.

Oct 2011 – Sept 2014, Security Consultant – ST Education & Training Pte Ltd
Conducted Security Risk Assessments and developed Security Protection Plans for new construction projects, and for existing buildings/institutions/facilities, in Singapore. This also included Project Management from the Security Consultant side. Assisted as needed in the development and execution of Security Training courses.

Jan 2003 – Sept 2008, Security Officer – Securitas and Loomis Norway
Employed as a Security Officer with Securitas Norway to do Mobile Patrolling and Alarm Response. This included doing on-the-job training of new employees. Afterwards, transferred to the Cash-in-transit department where I stayed for another 4 years. Duties included collecting money from banks and stores, and refilling ATMs.

Jul 1995 - Mar 2009, Military Service - Norway
2001-2009: Served as 2nd LT/squad-leader Military Police in the Home Guard (reserves). In 2005, signed a contract for the Quick Reaction Force within the Home Guard, which ended in 2009 due to relocation to Singapore. Participated in several NATO exercises, training alongside other NATO forces. Also took on duties as Range Officer during shooting exercises, due to previous training and experiences. Received training in Force Protection, ASP Baton, Pepper-spray, Fire and Manoeuvre, and Investigation Techniques.

1999: Short contract as Military Police-leader and 2nd in command of the Base Security detail, Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF). Main duty was to be in charge of criminal investigations on-base, secondly to be training the security guards and supervising their performance and conduct. Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. Received training in Basic Close Quarters Battle and Drug Enforcement.

1997: Short term contract as Instructor/2nd in Charge of a Recruit Platoon at the RNoAF Basic Military Training camp. Main duty was to train the platoon in weapons handling, teaching shooting techniques, instructing in other basic military skills, and secondly taking care of administrative duties for the platoon such as booking of range-time and reporting platoon-strength to the Company. Received training as a Firearms and Shooting Instructor.

1995-1996: Completed National Service with the RNoAF. Completed a Non-Commissioned Officer course, and Military Police school, followed by 6 months’ service as a squad-leader tasked with Base Security. Promoted to Sergeant on discharge. Received training in First Aid, Accident Site Management, Law Enforcement, Basic Investigation, Restraining Techniques, Basic Close Protection/VIP Security and Base Security.
