About Ivan Tan:

Fresh graduate from NUS Applied Mathematics Honors Program with a Second Major in Statistics. Have a strong passion in Teaching and Mathematical Research. 

Experience

I took on the role as an undergraduate tutor last year to conduct lessons for two tutorial groups over a period of 11 weeks for a module on Linear Algebra. Several students feedback positively on my knowledge and my well preparedness for the classes.

 

Education

I took my Bachelor Degree in the National University of Singapore and I am expecting to graduate with an Honors with Distinction on July 2023. My primary major is applied mathematics and my second major is statistics. Given my passion in further mathematics, I took on several research experiences in school, which are the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program as well as the Final Year Honors Project.
