  • Supported company’s China business to ensure procurement activities adhere to HQ’s policies and compliances.
  • Led in change management in procurement practices.

  • Developed and implemented sourcing strategies and achieved minimum dual sources for Switchgears & Transformers to reduce company’s single source risks.
  • Prepared and trained Strategy Sourcing procedures to >50 users across 4 departments.
  • Spearheaded the Approved Vendor List (AVL) of 15 key suppliers to ensure business continuity and increase company’s value.

Key user in SAP and Teamcenter software Product Lifecycle Management Systems

  • Act as escalation point for end users within procurement and worked on new improvements and projects to roll out to organization and APAC offices. 

Achievements

  • Implemented annual continuous improvement activities with key suppliers and achieved annual cost down target of 5 to 10%.
  • Established Business Continuity Plans with > 8 key suppliers to reduce company supply risk and improve business agility.
  • Led NPI projects (500-3000 parts per machine) related to EU and APAC procurement activities to achieve time to market targets.
  • Designed and orchestrated the new Product Lifecycle Management system for APAC users that accelerated procurement digital transformation and delivered significant operation improvements across all multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Selected as the sole regional system trainer for employees (60 staff) within procurement department.
