Greetings! 


 

My name is Precious B. Nakpil-Lai and I would like to apply for Special Education Teacher in your school. I believe that I possess the qualifications of being a part of your company. 

I have taught Children with Special Needs (CSN) for more than 10 years of various ages and challenges and was able to provide the most effective educational strategies and best practices in the field. 

Along with teaching responsibilities, I have managed to finish my Master Degree and still continue to study to further my knowledge and gain professional growth. Though knowledgeable in this career, I believe that I am able to adapt and contribute to the current practices and methods of your school. 

I am married to a Singaporean and is currently processing my PR application. Even though I am a full time a Special Education Teacher, I still can balance my passion on arts and painting. Recently, I have been invited and recognized by the Embassy of the Philippines here in Singapore by providing free art workshops. I will be featuring my first solo art exhibit with the Philippine Embassy on September 2023 with a theme, ‘In this Kaleidoscope World: Looking Through the Eyes of Children and Young Adults with Special Needs’.

• Have handled ages ranging from 3 to 12 years olds
• Have experience teaching a neurotypical group of children with 1 or 2 students with special needs in a class (Mainstream and Inclusive settings) 
• Have taught children with special needs in segregated settings (groups of 6-8 students in a class)
• Have taught children with autism, cerebral palsy, William Syndrome, children with dyslexia, and others
• Have taught various subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy, Arts, Music, Physical Education, ADL, Fine and Gross Motor skills, Communication skills

• Instructor Registration with MOE- Enrichment/Elective Module, CCA and Visual Art Theory and Enrichment/Life skills 
• Certified Autism Specialist- International board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) 
• Master of Arts in Education, major in Special Education- University of the Philippines, Diliman Philippines
