Randy Chan

I am a final year undergraduate at Singapore Management University (SMU) currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems. My interest in data analytics using machine learning techniques drives me to seek exciting opportunities in the related field. I believe that the wide array of skills obtained at my polytechnic and university makes me a versatile team player.

During my stint at JOS Pte. Ltd., I was involved in the development and testing of applications used to automate and streamline management reports with proper system documents such as technical guides. I was also involved in creating data quality dashboards which provided useful insights for end users.

As a final year undergraduate studying Information Systems at Singapore Management University, I have developed a passion for utilizing Machine Learning techniques in Data Analytics. I have taken several classes focusing on various Machine Learning techniques such as topic modelling and sentiment analysis for text mining and regression for predictive analysis. These courses have provided me with a solid foundation in Machine Learning algorithms and their applications in data analysis. Additionally, I have completed various projects that have allowed me to apply what I have learned in class to real-world scenarios.
