About Rick Chan:

I am a veteran educator of over ten years, conducting educational and enrichment workshops for students and teachers. 

A Teacher with Relevant Industry Experience 

Aside from teaching, I have also developed valuable skills in public speaking and writing faculties over the years.

On the public speaking front, I have been a Master-of-Ceremonies for several years and have hosted large-scale events, such as OTSAW’s official launch, which Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Kiat graced.

Since 2019, I have also been doing Content Writing and Public Relations and have helped tech giants, such as Xasis, AdColony and Rakuten, to land interview opportunities on major media networks, such as CNA938, Money 89.3fm, Ticker News, and many more. 

My experiences can prepare your students for their exams and working world success. 

A Passionate Educator who is Adaptative to Innovative Methods of Teaching

As an educator, I am always looking for new approaches to teaching, as students can benefit from diverse learning options. 

For example, when my drama club students struggled to memorise their lines, I changed the medium from a stage play to a live-action short film so that they could reduce their stress in remembering while enjoying the entire process of acting and, most crucially, learning.

My innovative approach was also greeted with success as a local school invited me to impart my knowledge of drama pedagogy to its resident English teachers.
