About Rithaa Abdullah:

A dedicated educator with 3 years of experience in childcare, the Montessori Method of Education, inquiry-based learning, and the Reggio Emilia approach. I have experience teaching Toddlers up to the kindergarten 2 level. Warm, passionate, and creative who is self-reflective in nature. Paired with the ability to build strong relationships with the children as well as working together with the parents to create a stable, loving, warm and enriching environment for the children. I align my teaching practices to the Reggio & Inquiry Based learning pedagogies. I aim to provide a classroom that is inclusive through ordinary practice, not by an extension of inclusion. I acknowledge and believe that students thrive in an environment where they feel valued, loved and heard and the diversity that they carry hence applying various pedagogies to ensure that they are successful at achieving learning goals.  All children deserve equitable education that provides them with representation, emotional regulation, knowledge and experience that propels their world into the colours of the world.

I am currently writing my dissertation in Master of Education in Inclusion and Specialized Educational Needs under Queen’s University Belfast through long distance study after completing my courses there, hence I am looking for a part time teaching job. I will be available from June onwards, preferably a 8-1 or 9-1 job.
