Hello! I'm Russell, a final-year undergraduate student at Yale-NUS College, Singapore. I am deeply passionate about sustainability, majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Economics. I aspire to enter the ESG and sustainability space to enact the change necessary to continue co-habilitating with the planet without destroying it.

I had the pleasure of interning during the summer holidays of my first and second college years as a research associate and a recruitment consultant respectively. As a research associate, I assisted a professor in the life sciences discipline where I underwent a 2-month summer research program to examine relationships between otter thermals and grooming behavior. At the end of this, I produced a 5-minute video and a Canva poster to publish the results of the findings for the summer research program. My recruitment consultant intern experience was with Phaidon International, a fast-paced sales-oriented company that strives to constantly hit KPIs. During my short stint of 3 months, I fulfilled 2 open job positions: 1 in-house, and 1 client. I also utilized Onenote, Excel, and in-house software applications to organize notes and information on over 200 potential candidates on a weekly basis. 

As I aspire to enter the ESG space, my major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Economics have led to the following relevant coursework thus far heading into my 4th and final year of studies:
