I'm a driven and tenacious individual with a flair for the arts, as well as a strong curiosity in learning the workings of the human mind. As an ex-police officer, I’ve a particular interest in individuals on the edge of society, such as at-risk youth and current/ex-cons, with the aim of contributing to their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

I’m easygoing with a good sense of humour, but also diligent, and I always make the effort to ensure the satisfaction of all stakeholders involved in my work. I prioritise efficiency, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the quality of the work I produce. I enjoy dealing with numbers, and I’m especially interested in how they can reveal insights about human attitudes and behaviours.

I'm also an aspiring musician with a vested interest in the genre of metal, and I'm involved in Singapore's underground music scene as well! I mainly perform as a vocalist, with a niche in the harsh vocals of metal music. I also possess an intermediate understanding of music production and audio engineering.

I've dipped my feet in many areas and am eager to contribute in any field where my work can create positive impacts on people, particularly in the fields of the arts, law enforcement, social services or psychological well-being!

President, NUS Amplified (May ‘23 - Current): Managed NUS' premier live music CCA, overseeing all operational aspects, creating a safe space for student musicians to hone their craft, and representing the club in all external dealings.

Volunteer, Mercylight Animal Sanctuary (Oct ‘20 - Feb ’21): Volunteered at a shelter for stray dogs, bringing them for walks, managing their behaviour, ensuring their safety and health, and training them to prepare them for adoption.

Police Officer, Singapore Police Force (May ‘19 - Nov ’20): Conducted daily, high-visibility patrols at public transport nodes, screening suspicious individuals, effecting arrests, attending to police reports, assisting members of public with impromptu issues, and carrying out community engagement duties. Was concurrently involved in administrative work, including but not limited to manpower management, intradepartmental liaising, and handling of confidential documents.

Teaching Assistant, dMinor Music (Jan ‘17 - Feb ’17): Assisted in carrying out music classes for primary school students, learnt the basics of audio engineering and music production, and supervised ITE Central’s pop band CCA, helping to prepare them for an upcoming performance.

Intern, Kidz Treehouse International Pte. Ltd (Jan ‘17 - Feb ’17): Managed the welfare and discipline of primary school children at an after-school daycare centre. Also carried out administrative tasks by digitalising almost 100 physical records with manually-created Excel spreadsheets, and dealing with caretakers’ inquiries over the counter and phone in a gracious manner.

Currently in my third year of study for a Bachelor's of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology, at the National University of Singapore.
