I am currently pursuing a Master of IT in Business with a specialization in Financial Technology and Analytics at the Singapore Management University. I also hold a Bachelor of Information Technology from James Cook University, Singapore, where I achieved a GPA of 4.9 and Distinction in three subjects.(MySQL, Java Programming, Internet Fundamentals)
My experience as an intern at Novelty Cards and Arts allowed me to gain hands-on experience in managing a sales team, improving customer satisfaction, and using technology to increase sales and profits. Additionally, my internship at Rootmap Solutions Pvt. Ltd. provided me with exposure to Python and data mining tools, SAS JMP Pro, which I used to provide IT solutions to companies in various sectors. I also worked as a part-time intern at Arun Kumar Gupta and Associates, where I learned about accounting software and prepared income tax returns for clients.
In terms of academic projects, I have completed a project based on Monte Carlo simulation and other problems using Excel and VBA coding at SMU, received an A+ grade for the project. I also created a project report on chronic kidney disease using data mining techniques such as K-means clustering, DB Scan, Variable selection, data preprocessing, One-R, J-48 decision three at JCU. Finally, I made a project using Python libraries (numpy, pandas, matplotlib) for data analysis for a financial model and used several plots for different models at SMU. I am actively working in the Indian equity market from past 3 yrs, and perform various chart analysis on regular basis, and is familiar with the day to day financial news.
Apart from my technical skills, I am also proficient in English and Hindi and have volunteered at an orphanage, where I taught mathematics and English to children and distributed clothes and food.
