I plan to further my studies in contemporary music and am looking for any job or internship opportunities to gain experience, allowing me to be better prepared for University and for the real world. Music has been my passion for the longest time and I am extremely grateful that I have found my calling in wanting to pursue it as a career. Ideally, I would like to be a music producer and work with well-established, like-minded musicians, hence would like to gain experience from interning at record companies and music studios.

Right now, I am a freelance violin teacher and teach beginners to students who are of an ABRSM Grade 7 standard. I teach all over the country and have learnt a lot about patience, and the art of getting the basics right before rushing into anything.

• Sing50 at National Stadium
  •  When I was 11, I played alongside the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra in Sing50, Singapore’s 50-year tribute concert. That was the first time I realised how I could make a difference in the music scene and to people’s lives as I heard 45,000 people sing along to the familiar tunes played. At that moment, I formed an instant connection with the audience.
• Performed overseas with a group of young musicians in places like Malaysia, Vietnam, Austria, Jakarta
• Gained orchestral experience from the camp with the Orchestra of the Music Makers. It was a surreal experience given that I was the youngest musician to attend the camp in 2015
• Got selected to attend a festival organised by The Philadelphia Orchestra, focusing on solo performance. I worked with world-class musicians like Kimberly Fisher, Richard Amoroso, Huifang Chen, and Madison Day
