Financial Analysis of Stocks, August to October 2021 Collected stock data of JPM, NFLX and AAPL, and compared them by calculating the mean and volatility of daily price return, the correlation coefficient and determining the optimised portfolio composition with Excel, as well as evaluating the bond price, the interest rate in the yield curve, the NPV and IRR of investments and the prevailing cost of capital with Python. 2. Managerial Accounting Analysis, February to April 2022 Evaluated the organisational architecture and finance situation of a selected company in real life, including evaluating the manufacturing costs, manufacturing overhead variance, the income statement, the balance sheet and the statement of cash flow, budget planning and overhead allocation for the company. 3. Corporate Finance Analysis, August to October 2022 Prepared 2-years balance sheet from available data set of a selected company, calculated cash flow and amortising loans of the company. Analysed the effect of financial leverage on the company's net income and return on equity, determined the optimal inventory level, and prepared cash budget and short-term financial plan for the company. 4. Portfolio construction and management, February to May 2023 Evaluated a Canadian pension funds' existing asset allocation and portfolio management with the consideration of investor's expectation, risk and return, taxation, legislation, and sustainable investing principles. Proposed a sustainable strategic asset allocation for the entire portfolio of the pension funds based on the evaluation and combined market research and analysis. |
