Shashikala Galappaththi

I'm Shashikala Galappaththi, currently a Junior Landscape Architect at TOWN 3 Holdings (PVT) Ltd. I completed the 4-year degree program, Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in June 2021. I have 2+ years of experience in the industry as a Landscape Architect and also currently I’m working as a temporary instructor at the University of Moratuwa for academic design projects.

Throughout my career, I was involved in producing landscape designs, site inspections, 3D modeling, landscape construction drawings, site survey, tree survey, and landscape construction documentation. I was also able to improve my knowledge of planting techniques like plant troughs, rootballing, plant walls with flora-felt pouches, green walls, etc. During my tenure as an instructor, I was able to gain experience in mentoring and coaching undergraduates on design concepts and design formulation.

I bring to your team a trained eye for detail and a keen sense of modern and green aesthetics. I’m proficient in the use of Autodesk and Adobe suites, and I have used Autodesk AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite for most of my work during my career.
