About Shi Yu Foo:

I am a Computer Science Sophomore at NUS with a passion for networking, IoT and software engineering. My past experience includes the development of an online multiplayer game in Unity with a server-client system built from scratch using C#. I have also built a system that automated the watering of my plants. It was built with the Flutter framework and utilised the real-time database from Firebase and the WebSocket protocol for communication with an ESP-8266 connected water pump. Having done multiple group projects, I have grown accustomed to working in team‑based settings and methodologies like Agile and SCRUM. With my passion for computer science and software engineering, I am eager to gain industry experience through internship opportunities.

  • Conducted UI testing and UX survey with 20 operators. Gathered and incorporated feedback into subsequent
    iterations.
