 I have experience in accounting and admin when I worked in the school administration department. I also worked for a sister concern of a bank where my job entailed generating product performance reports for management's perusal. I shifted to teaching for work life balance.

My roles as a school office manager and as a teacher gave me an opportunity to interact with a myriad of parents, honing my people skills. I was the sole in-charge of the school office attending to parents' queries, maintaining staff and students records, collection of cash payments, administering payroll and benefits, promoting the school to walk in parents and giving a tour of the campus.

I have prior experience in recording employee personal details, contracts and salary information and regularly reviewing to update these records. Proficient in ensuring proper payroll deduction for taxes, benefits and other deductions. Performed various administartive duties, hired teachers and resolved any payroll issue. I have experience in processing and filing paperwork e.g. invoices, expenses etc, managing petty cash transactions, verifying calculations, book keeping, reconciling bank statements. 

 I have had to use MS Office when I worked in school admin and when I worked as a teacher. I am adept at formatting, creating graphs and charts, forms and templates, mail merge templates in Word, creating pivot tables, advanced formulas and functions, conditional formatting in Excel, designing presentation, creating charts, inserting media in Powerpoint.

I hold a MBA degree and am a part-qualified management accountant too
