Shreya Gupta

Currently studying Media and Communications at The University of The Arts London (UAL). I am a creative individual who loves to handle social media, photography, writing, and working with others. I worked as a social media intern for Splat Paint House and Spin Paint House where I took videos and photos of the customers who came to paint and created several stories, posts, and reels for their Instagram and TikTok. I also devised several future ideas for the team to work on and helped manage events. I worked on large events and parties by not only helping with the event but also taking photos and videos to post on social media. This job taught me how to deal with customers and take a wide range of footage for such companies. I also have basic knowledge of Photoshop and editing programs. I have a strong interest in marketing, communications, social media and plan to pursue this career in the future which is why taking this job will help me better understand this field.

I am looking for a part time job for about 2 and a half months until my summer holidays end. I want to gain more experience and knowledge in sales and marketing as well as improve my communication skills. I aim to become an expert in this field by challenging myself and surrounding myself with a community that helps me thrive. I aim to develop many skills that will help me in my career path such as public speaking, being a proactive and engaging team member, and take on leadership responsibilities. Hopefully, by getting a role like this, I will not only gain these skills that will help me in the future, but I will gain knowledge and experience.

I completed high school (secondary school) at the Singapore American School in 2022. Now I am studying in London at the University of the Arts London with a degree in Media Communications. I am currently looking for a part-time internship during the summer holidays that can help me gain more experience and knowledge in this field.
