Shrinidhi Arul Prakasam

I am Shrinidhi Arul Prakasam, a sophomore Year 2 student majoring in Computer Science and Design (CSD) in the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). I aspire to work in full stack development in the future to develop meaningful android applications and to therefore, hone my skills in backend and frontend development utilizing java programming and firebase.  

I am a Year 2 Sohomore Computer Science & Design major at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), with a preferred job focus on an internship in Software Engineering Backend. In terms of projects, I was involved in a Year 1 university group project where a replica of a lotus flower with a reflective mirror paper surface was built, utilizing Arduino IDE software to light up the LED lights. Another project in Year 2 involved building an app that generates recipes tailored to dietary restrictions using ingredients available at home. I also possess basic Python programming skills, including loops, conditional statements, and basic object-oriented programming. Moreover, I demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to perform data analysis, document large amounts of information, and create visual presentations using various tools and techniques.

In summary, I am a motivated and skilled Year 2 student at SUTD, focusing on Computer Science & Design with a keen interest in Software Engineering Backend. My involvement in university group projects showcases practical application of skills, such as coding in Arduino IDE for lighting up LED lights and developing an app for generating customized recipes. My proficiency in Python programming, including loops, conditional statements, and basic object-oriented programming, highlights a strong foundation in programming. Additionally, my adeptness in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint demonstrates the ability to perform data analysis, document information, and create visually engaging presentations using various features and tools within these software applications.

I am doing a Bachelor's degree majoring in Computer Science & Design in SUTD. I have experience and am proficient in java and python programming. I also have experience in arduino programming.
