As an ambitious and highly motivated Sociology undergraduate, I am driven by a deep commitment to creating positive change and making a meaningful impact through my work, with my experience in sociological research. Human Resource / Customer Care Intern

  • Obtained the Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI), acquiring in-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore. Provided comprehensive and accurate advice to clients on their responsibilities and rights, to prevent legal disputes related to employment issues and ethical treatment to migrant domestic workers.
  • Successfully processed over 100 transfer cases, estimating to 55% of the total number of cases in January, February and March by coordinating with relevant stakeholders, preparing documentation, and ensuring 100% compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, resulting in zero fines or penalties.
  • Conducted research and project management initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee wellbeing, resulting in increased employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills by responding promptly and professionally to client queries and concerns within a strict 48-hour window period, resulting in a significant increase in highly-rated Google reviews and positive feedback from clients, which boosted the company's reputation and client retention rates.

  • Worked under the CARE department, providing support to the Women’s Care Centre and Sexual Assault Care Centre.
  • Acted as the first point of contact for callers, resulting in a 30% reduction time in call handling time. 
  • Collaborated with senior management to successfully transition mainlines from Velox to Zoom Phone within a week, resulting in a 50% reduction in call connectivity issues and call handling errors by proactively creating a manual guide.
