Shweta Agarwal

I am currently working as PYP ICT Teacher at One World International School, Nanyang.  I’ m responsible for implementation of integration of technology in PYP. I have more than 7 years of teaching experience. Prior to relocating to India in June 2014 due to personal reasons, I was working in the corporate IT sector in Singapore for nearly 6 years. I worked at IBM Singapore in my last job as an administrator in IT compliance.

I have attended PYP CAT 1 IB workshop, Thinking and Learning in the Master-Centered Classroom from Harvard, Learning to teach online from Coursera. In 2012 and 2023, a blog on assessment through technology and adopting design thinking into transdisciplinary themes, respectively, written by me was selected and published by IB. 
Recently I have been selected by IB as an active member of the ' PYP Subject Guidance Development Group'. 

• Currently working as a PYP ICT Teacher at One World International School, responsible for implementing technology in line with IB pedagogy, school philosophy, and policies.
• Primary responsibilities include designing and delivering lessons using technology, designing digital citizenship curriculum, assessing and monitoring student progress, leading extra-curricular activities, and bridging gaps across curriculum for smooth skill transition.
• Previously worked as a PYP ICT Coordinator at DPS International, responsible for integrating learning technologies across the curriculum, supervising the technology program, implementing and reviewing ICT policy, liaising with IT Manager, and providing professional development support to teachers.
• Prior experience includes working as a Form Tutor teacher at Cradle to Crayons, where responsibilities included delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, collaborating with other teachers, communicating with parents, and participating in school activities.
