So, what do I do?
For the seven  last years I have been the Regional Security Manager for a UK based temporary power company Aggreko.  I was part of a small but agile security function whose job is to enable Aggreko to do business in some of the most challenging environments globally.  My focus was on the Middle East and a wider Asia Pacific Region.

The world is an ever-changing place, and the energy sector is no different undergoing greater change and uncertainty than ever.  This brings which brings fresh challenges and new opportunities. My part was to keep Aggreko’s management informed of the threats and risks that could impact our operations and travel. It often involves being innovative to provide scalable and sustainable security solutions. I play my part in Aggreko, in the world’s move to a cleaner, lower carbon-world.

I’m a security and risk management professional with a military background that spanned over 24 years in the British Army, and involved service in several conflict zones. During that time, I was responsible for the management of large teams, logistics and planning and executing frontline operations. My background has been further enhanced by commercial training and exposure.

I am experienced in physical security and have been responsible for the authoring of standards and their implementation on major project sites. These have since went on to become flagship projects and used to demonstrate to customers Aggreko’s commitment to safeguarding our people and assets, in places such as Lebanon, Kurdistan and the Philippines.

I have been an advocate of the integration of tech into our security solutions enabling us to work smarter and make better use of our contracted security manpower. This has resulted in savings of over $850k on one project over a five-year period! This has been underpinned by a risk focused approach to security
I bring a mature, level-headed leadership style, that has a passion for the job. I am skilled in Threat and risk assessments, investigations, loss prevention and site hardening in high-risk areas, such as Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Sulu Archipelago, Mindanao, and West Papua. I am an excellent communicator who is comfortable with briefing  C-Suite to the shop floor.

I Bring additional value with; an extensive  network of industry contacts, and membership of regional professional bodies.

Responsible for the physical and travel security across the MEAPAC Region, which includes the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.  This includes BCM and crisis management.
