As a Computer Science student, I am eager to learn about the fundamentals of programming, algorithms, and data structures. I am excited to explore different programming languages and their applications to real-world problems. I understand that building a strong foundation in Computer Science will pave the way for a successful career in the tech industry.

I am taking advantage of opportunities to attend workshops and seminars that will further my knowledge and understanding of Computer Science. Through hands-on experience and practical application of the theories I have learned, I am building my skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning.

I participated in a hackathon with a team of four and developed a minimum viable product (MVP) Collaborations website using Python and Django. The website provides a platform for resource pooling and showcases partnerships on an open graph. It assists individuals with new or existing projects to find partners to help them achieve their goals. Our innovative solution captured the attention of one of the judges, who expressed interest in bringing our idea to life. I had to learn Django on the spot and quickly adapt to build the product within a week. Our team overcame technical challenges to deliver a finished product addressing the problem. I am currently volunteering with my team to construct the website. I am excited to expand my knowledge of Django and other programming languages needed to create a website of this calibre.
