Tan Kang Hee

I am an undergraduate to study Business Administration at the National University of Singapore. I am also deeply passionate about Finance, and am currently planning to specialise in Financial Analytics.

I believe in democratised and free finance for all through the use of technologically-enabled solutions. In particular, I am interested in the use of Blockchain technology to combat problems such as lack of Straight-Through-Processing (STP), middleman and concentration risks & barriers to entry to invest for certain consumer groups.

In my free time, you can catch me going for late-night runs or at the gym!

  Coordinate with advanced mathematics and science teachers to prepare class materials and organise class assignments, leading to 20% improvement in exam grades.

  Supervise over 24 students across 6 different classes in both tuition centre branches.

  Analyse new course requirements to introduce bridging concepts for students before the start of the next semester and provided support to teaching team in delivering new concepts to 24 students.  Manage conflicting deadlines given by 2 subject departments and honed time-management skills.

Sea Soldier (NDU)

  Revamped an Excel File for duty roster tracking, improving user friendliness and reducing manual organising time by 50%.

  Immersed in 2021 Singapore Armed Forces Day and National Day Parade, as the Orderly member for NDU during the parade.

  Liaised with external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage daily operations and achieved 0 complaints.
