About Terence Thaddeus Lew:

Highly experienced Senior Creative with excellent technical skills and more than 24 years of experience in UX/UI process and interactions, creative and web/mobile responsive and mobile app development in B2B and B2C environments. Formerly creative directing in print, advertising and corporate branding (ATL), as well as interactive designs through websites, campaigns, email, microsites and mobile platforms etc.

As a very innovative individual, he has researched, wireframed and implemented UX/UI and web/mobile designs for established international and local organisations. He dabbles into the organisation's strategies and understands customer pain points. He is very experienced in solving problems in Human-Centred Design (HCD) and design thinking processes. He is a perfectionist and proficient in simplifying best user interactions through many workflows for the best user experience to facilitate revenue growth and consumer retention for consumers and companies ranging both enterprise and consumer-facing products and services.

Experienced in wireframing and Prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch and  Adobe XD. 

Graduated Master of Management specialising in Digital Marketing in Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) in 2022. He also topped his class and obtained SUSS First-Class Honours in Visual Communication with Business in 2019. A two-time recipient of SUSS-NTUC scholarship for two degrees. He also obtained SkillFuture Study Award Scholarship in 2017.

Experience

Leading and overseeing MyRepublic Group in the Asia-Pacific region (Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia) to design, ensure and deliver immersive and consistent customer experience for all consumer and enterprise products and services while fully managing a UX team. 

Actively involved as co-owner in a regional Transformation Program that revolves around immersive mobile technologies such as mobile app for MyRepublic.

Led in executing UX/UI interactions and user process flows, supporting the importance of customer experience in designing innovative products for all projects from Asia-Pacific regions.

Spearheaded and successfully led a New Zealand project with my Product team in a productive design-driven overhaul of the Mobile Order Portal project reinforced from intensive research to immersive user interactions and effective iterations.

Built and developed an ideal UX/UI flow process for Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand mobile app projects to focus on revamping the mobile app for MVNO and Fibre while evaluating the best customer experience of their wants and needs. 

Implemented ideas while working with the product owner and various team members before fully designing all low and high-fidelity wireframes versions ranging from fundamental to advanced features and user journeys for all regions, resulting in increased conversion rates and more subscribers.

Managed and led the UX team to build and create UI wireframes streamlining the components for design library expansion (100% pixel perfect).

Mentored the UX team to improve their design thinking and understanding of customer experience, guiding them to push their effectiveness in Figma for various projects ranging from pixel-perfection, auto layout and dynamic components.

Championed an inclusive experience with colleagues to enhance diversity as the disabled employee working for MyRepublic. As a result, it impacted benefiting adequately by displaying a better and more inclusive environment.
