Xinyan Liao

Hey there, I'm Xinyan! As an incoming student at the London School of Economics and possessing a deep interest in the financial markets, I am highly interested in internship opportunities in the fields of asset management, venture capital and investment banking. I will be happy to discuss my qualifications with you further!

I have previously done two internships at Tahan Capital Management and David Lim & Partners.

At Tahan Capital, I led a team of other interns to engage in investment ideation and construct monthly pitches to the portfolio manager. This has made me more competent in financial analysis and formulating investment theses, which are highly transferable to most investment analyst roles.

At David Lim & Partners, I engaged in legal research and corporate advisory, specifically into M&A laws and cryptocurrency regulations. This will assist me in conducting due diligence on prospective investment targets as well as potential M&A transactions, which are highly relevant to roles at VCs and corporate finance firms.

I am an incoming Economics student at the London School of Economics and Political Science, planning to specialize in financial or quantitative economics. Prior to that, I was a student of Hwa Chong Institution.
