I am a recent graduate with a bachelor's of biomedical science. I am an aspiring biomedical researcher with a passion for unraveling the mysteries of the human body. With my knowledge and thirst for discovery, I seek to make a tangible difference in the world by unlocking the secrets of complex human disorders and bringing hope and healing to those in need.

My internship at PSB Academy as a Laboratory Technician exposed me to what it is like to create new experiments using the knowledge of lab techniques and provided me with a valuable introduction to the research field. This experience taught me the importance of patience, teamwork, communication, and cooperation while conducting experiments. Moreover, my time at La Trobe University has expanded my theoretical knowledge and taught me the importance of a meticulous and disciplined approach when conducting research. Exposure to a diverse range of research projects has strengthened my technical skills and fostered effective teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Throughout my studies, I actively participated in lab-based project modules that helped me to strengthen my theoretical knowledge and enhance my practical skills. In addition, I honed my illustration abilities while working on flyers and creating presentations to present our research information to an audience. I used websites such as Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Good Slides.

I am proud to share that my academic journey has been marked by consistent dedication and outstanding performance, as evidenced by my exceptional weighted average mark of 79.58 in my bachelor of biomedical science degree. This accomplishment reflects my unwavering commitment to academic excellence and is a testament to my strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity. Thanks to my undergraduate degree, I developed a strong foundation in key biomedical disciplines such as human pathophysiology, drug development, cellular biochemistry, Experimental design, immunology, Pharmacology, central nervous system, genetics, and statistics. Through these modules, I gained essential skills needed for the biomedical industry, including complex problem-solving, analytical thinking, data analysis, and scientific writing and communication. 

During my degree, I actively participated in lab-based project modules where I learned various molecular techniques. These techniques included PCR, SDS-PAGE analysis, Western blotting, fluorescent imaging, Immobilized metal affinity chromatography, Gel electrophoresis, and restriction digestion. As part of one of my laboratory-intensive modules, I conducted experiments with green fluorescent protein, using sub-cloning, transformation into bacteria, and western blotting techniques. The laboratory-intensive modules helped me to strengthen my theoretical knowledge and understanding of various techniques and methodologies essential for biomedical research.
