About Vivian Lau Wen Ya:

Am a highly motivated and passionate individual that is always looking to upskill. Currently transitioning into Data Science, with great interest in ETL and Machine Modelling.

Experience

I have worked 3.5 years as an hydraulic and hydrologic design engineer which involves using software modelling and GIS tools (utilising python). Day to day work also consists of analysing large geological data sets and producing good data visualisation for client reporting and communication. 

Education

Have taken a specialist diploma in data analytics at Ngee Ann Polytechnic which includes data visualisation using PowerBI, Tableau, spotfire and python. The specialist diploma also consists of data wrangling, using ETL processes and machine modelling on large datasets.
