About Ying Ting Ang:

Currently a fresh graduate from Nanyang Technological University, with a Bsc (hons) degree in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. Chemistry is known to me as a very diverse discipline, and I want to see the limits of this diversity in as many fields of work as I can. Attempting to see the limits of chemical applications in professions like engineering, forensics, molecular biology, etc. 

Experience

Nanyang Technological University intern of 5 months at National Parks Board; Veterinary Forensics and Pathology section. Researching on songbird identification and parentage using molecular biology techniques. 

Previously worked as an intern and part time staff in Leung Kai Fook Co. Pte. Ltd. (pharmaceutical company) laboratory department and a patient account officer at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital as a summer part time job. 

Education

Bachelors of Science (Hons) in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University. 

Diploma in Applied Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry) from Singapore Polytechnic
