  • Requirement Elicitation - Immediately after getting a BRD from the client, my responsibility is to going through the requirement, do self-brainstorming for similar systems if it is a new domain or going through the existing system documentations if it is an existing system project and raise the clarifications if required in the initial requirement discussions.
  • I am working collaboratively with the tech lead and finalizing the system solution since currently work in backend systems.
  • After getting the deep understanding of the business scenario I should draw the flow diagram including the solution.
  • Documenting the requirement with the finalized solution to a Functional Requirement Specification Including User Stories and sending it to the client to get the approval after the SME review and Internal Lead review.
  • At the same time, I must create projects / Epics (If it’s a CR), user stories in JIRA as well.
  • We start our work after having a sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Before the starting the sprint planning, I need to conduct the capacity planning of the team to identify the available capacity for each team member. (Maintaining leave tracker to track the leaves for each sprint)
  • Tracking the projects statuses, Update the client regarding the project status and dependencies (Using dependency tracker) until it delivers to the client, are some of my main responsibilities.
  • Conducting operational hand over to the client, collaborated with developer since I am currently working with a backend team.
• Preparing weekly project status reports, Project estimations, and Project Metrix Tracker documents and other project-related documents if requested by the management.
• Prepared BA function point estimation templates for the BA team.
• Provide the guidance to the BA team, monitor their work and address their issues and providing solutions for them from my level or escalate them to the higher-level consultants.
