Soon-to-be psychology undergraduate, I would like an opportunity to contribute to various communities concerning Singapore's mental health.

Temporary Research Assistant

• Conducted various neurocognitive assessments of elderly participants (e.g., RAVLT, Digit Span, Colour Trails etc.) Efficiency of the administration of NCAs increased and improved social relational skills with participants.
• Operated the fNIRs as part of a study’s gathering of data. Learnt more about the machine and its purpose in neuropsychological research.
• Recruited and screened participants suitable for the lab’s study. The participant count of the study had increased marginally.
• Led the team when the primary research assistant is unavailable, and guided one another to clarify and solve problems faced during and after assessments. Collaboration efforts between team members had improved

Classroom Assistant (Intern) at St. Andrew's Autism Centre.

• Partook in the emotional behavioural management of clients, with the supervision of class coaches. Appreciations were received for easing the coaches’ efforts.
• Communicated with parents of adult autistic clients about the progress and behaviours of clients. Parents were made more aware of their clients’ situations and cooperated with class coaches on their behaviours at home.
• Prepared information needed for case management meetings of clients with various stakeholders and took part in the meetings (Class coaches, Occupational Therapists etc.) Meetings were efficiently conducted with short-term and long-term goals set by the different parties.
• Learned basic information about Applied Behavioural Analysis. Knowledge was increased on learning about the possible motivations behind clients’ actions and the appropriate methods to regulate clients.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science in Psychology @ Nanyang Technological University, in my final year (2019 - current)
