Ze Xuan Tay

I am a Year 2 Real Estate Undergraduate from the National University of Singapore. I am also pursuing a second major in business and a specialization in Real Estate Finance. Some of my relevant coursework include accounting, statistical analysis, real estate investment analysis, economics, valuation, business law and finance.

My past internship was a year ago, with a real estate valuation firm. During this internship, I had the opportunity to understand the determinants of value of various property types. Additionally, I understood the importance of being meticulous and resourceful, digging deep for reliable and accurate information to strengthen our valuation report. Meanwhile, my mentors also guided me in the financial modelling process, of which the discounted cash flow and income capitalization model were our main focus. Lastly, I experienced first-hand the significance of time management while working under pressured conditions. During peak periods when client requests were high, I had to make sure quality output was produced efficiently to complement the needs of my team.
