What are we looking for?
Qualifications:
Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Laws with 2 to 4 years of AML & CFT compliance experience in wholesale banking industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Power Query and Power
BI is a plus.
Well-organized and meticulous in details.
Overview
Job Purpose & Objectives
As a Compliance Analyst, assisting the Head of Compliance you will provide essential support in ensuring that the organization operates in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
You will work closely with the Head of Compliance and other team members to monitor compliance activities, conduct research, and assist in implementing compliance programs.
This position requires a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance Support:
Assist the Head of Compliance in ensuring our bank meets all regulatory requirements set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Be the guardian of our compliance-related documents and records. Your attention to detail will help us maintain accurate and organized documentation of policies, procedures, and regulatory filings.
Compliance Research:
Stay on top of the latest regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices. You'll have the opportunity to explore exciting topics and analyze their potential impact on our operations.
Compliance Monitoring:
Join us in monitoring our compliance with regulations and internal policies. You'll identify potential risks and contribute to developing measures to ensure we're always on the right track.
Review KYC documentation on new account opening and perform transactions screening and monitoring in compliance with relevant anti-money laundering requirements.
Compliance Reporting:
Prepare reports on our compliance activities and assist in submitting them to senior management and regulatory authorities. Your attention to detail and precision will ensure our reports are accurate and impactful.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with our talented team, including the Head of Compliance, legal, risk management, and internal audit teams.
Training:
Assist in providing relevant trainings to staff on changes and development of laws, rules, regulations and internal policies
Assist in any other ad hoc projects.
