JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Inpatient Operations team to drive the three main work streams, namely,
Non-Clinical Workflows
Operations Readiness and Ramp-Up
Pre-Operations (Yishun Campus)
Support Clinical Departments within the Division of Medicine with development of services and processes to ensure safe and efficient care for the patients

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific

Non-Clinical Workflows

Analyse, review and map or develop routine inpatient ward non-clinical workflows in the following areas:

Patient On-boarding and communications
Inflight Services Flows, Routes and schedule for Housekeeping, escort, meals and portering
Hospital-Wide: Real Time Location System (RTLS), (Patient Information Board (PIB) and other ITrelated projects
Operations Readiness and Ramp-Up
Support the development of inpatient wards extraction and migration plans from WHC's preoperations hostsites by working with multiple clinical and nonclinical stakeholders.
Engage with respective Ministry of Health Departments to ensure that the extraction and migration plans are within Ministry guidelines.
Ensure the smooth execution of the extraction and migration plans and that patient care and staff migration is seamless and hasslefree.
Review design and architectural documents to ensure compliance with inpatient ward service requirements.
Review facilities, equipment and instrument requirements to ensure the compliance to inpatient wards clinical and nonclinical needs.
Support the planning of medical and nonmedical equipment requirements and procurement, and in line with the inpatient services and campus opening plan.
Coordinate and review the fitting out, training, defect, handover, rectifications, installations and supplying of procured equipment and supplies for inpatient wards.
Review, develop and conduct Table-Top Exercises and rehearsals in line with workflows developed for inpatient wards to prepare for Campus Opening.
Support the preparation activities required for the licensing of the Campus in accordance to our Campus opening plan, which includes the set up relevant IT and financial systems.
Pre-Operations (Yishun Campus)

Support the planning, development and operations of WHC preoperations inpatient wards in the Yishun Campus which include the following: manpower rampup, clinical services plan, staff deployment strategy and facilities management.
Provide ground operations support (incident and fault management, statistics monitoring, leadership walkabouts, staff training and recruitment)
Coordinate and lead continuous improvement projects to lower ALOS, patient case management and process improvement projects)
Coordinate with Yishun Campus on pilots and to ensure that new policies and practices are communicated and aligned with WHC preoperations wards before implementation.

General

Where directed by Reporting Officer, and/or Director, Medicine & Community /Inpatient Ops, to support in other WHCrelated projects and tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

University Degree
Some years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an operations or service background. more years of experience will be considered as Senior Executive
Healthcare experience is a bonus
