Yara Africa & Asia (YAA) produces, sells, distributes and markets fertilizers and industrial products across Asia Pacific and Africa regions, with offices location and operational units in 20 countries.

The region employs over 1800 employees and has a long history in the Asian Pacific and African markets, focusing on develop crop nutrition concepts that increase food production and create value to the growers, in particular smallholder farmers, whilst minimizing environmental impact of agricultural activities.

YAA is currently undergoing a major transformation, aimed at shifting the existing business models, generating new revenue streams and ultimately delivering profit through new Farming Solutions related activities.

Responsibilities:

As a Mid-Level UX Designer you will contribute to the conceptual development and delivery of design artefacts to create products that delight users.

Work closely with research experts translating recommendations into design concepts, flows, wireframes and intuitive interfaces.
Articulate clear ideas through UX deliverables such as mood boards, sketches, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
Work on experiences that are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, including phone, tablet and desktop.
Adopt a usercentred approach for rapid prototyping and validating with real users.
Operate in crossfunctional teams; including design, product, content, engineering, and marketing.
Adopt UX and design thinking within your teams.
Contribute to the further development of a unified design system in order to ensure consistency across design solutions.

Profile:

You have a minimum of 3 to 6 years of UX experience.
You have a strong portfolio that showcases a variety of projects, your creative process and final designs.
Awareness in 1 or more of the following: Research, Visual Design, Interaction Design, Content, Service Design.
You can work across the entire design process, from problem framing and conceptualizing design directions to the final handoff.
You are proficient with the most common design tools, preferably good with prototyping.
You are open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
You are proactive and have an experimental mindset.
You are aligned with our principles: customercentric, lean, serviceoriented architecture, selfmotivated, transparent.
Experience with digital transformation initiatives in B2B and B2C business / supply chain / ecommerce / sustainability domains will be desirable.
