Claxton is currently seeking a Stores & QC Technician for a full-time, permanent position based at our Singapore - Tuas South Avenue location.

As Stores and QC Technician, you will be responsible for the Stores and Inventory in Claxton Singapore, along with ensuring all goods in and out are carried out in accordance with Claxton Processes.

This will include performing standard Quality Checks on goods and using the company system (Microsoft Navison) to ensure accurate stock and inventory balances.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist incoming goods and arrange appropriate action of inspection, restocking or quarantining for repair in accordance with Claxton procedures and ISO 900
Completion of all appropriate goodinward documentation and advising workshop staff for update of warehouse database
Storage of equipment in nondegrading conditions
Inspect all returned third party goods and ensure timely processing
Assist in implementation and subsequent management of stores / stockholding for projects and workshop
Assist in monitoring of storage utilized by Client's equipment
Assist to monitor space utilization with Opco
Maintain housekeeping standards in warehouse and goods in / open yard area
Assist with load outs and premob checks
Assist with loading and unloading of goods in /out
Assist in equipment return receipts and documentation and return of 3rd Party equipment
Provide support to the Workshop capability
Assist in providing support to local stores deliveries as necessary
Perform material stock take / Good Receive Note in Navision System
Review Lifting and NDT certifications
Perform Pre-Mobilization inspection as per client's requirement
Perform De-Mobilization inspection as per IMS/ PMM

Requirements:

Working Knowledge of Stores Control and Goods Inspection processes
Working knowledge of oilfield equipment and general inspection
A working knowledge of Health & Safety, ISO9001 and QA procedures
More than 3 years in working in industrial stores departments.
Demonstratable experience of inventory control systems
Computer literate able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Access databases to a good level
Fork lift truck license (up to 15 Tonne)
Good communication skills
Singaporeans or Singapore PRs are encourage to apply
